Our aim is to support individuals in making positive changes to their lives - focusing on their behaviour, lifestyle and thoughts in order to promote healthy sleep and biological rhythms, to optimise health, performance and productivity.

 

Whilst we are not clinicians, our extensive knowledge of evidence-based techniques for multiple sleep and circadian disorders provides us with the groundwork for optimising sleep in non-clinical populations, such as whether you wish to learn how to improve your sleep for a particular event, before or after travelling, to discuss particular worries you have around your sleep, or whether you just feel your sleep could do with a little TLC!

 

We will provide (online via Zoom) a 2 session package which will include:

Session 1 (1 hour):

  • An initial online discussion, including an evaluation of your current health, relevant history, sleep and lifestyle

  • A week long sleep assessment

  • Education on the processes and complexities of sleep

Session 2 (1 hour):

  • Discussion of your sleep assessment results

  • A personalised discussion of ways to improve your sleep through lifestyle and behavioural changes

  • A personalised programme to challenge maladaptive cognitions around sleep

  • Tailored advice to optimise your sleep using evidence-based therapeutic techniques
     

Our advice and programme of sleep optimisation training does not constitute or replace advice and treatment from a medical professional, such as your GP or clinical psychologist accredited by the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP). You should seek advice from a medical professional, should your sleep difficulties require clinical attention not covered by Sleep Universal.
